Pinakbet or pakbet is an indigenous Filipino dish from the northern regions of the Philippines. Pinakbet is made from mixed vegetables steamed in fish or shrimp sauce.
Ingredients
Garlic
Onions
Squash or pumpkin
Okra
Eggplant
Bitter melon
Shrimp paste
Prawns
Procedure
Saute 1tsp of garlic, squash, eggplant, okra, and add in half tbsp. of shrimp paste.
Next vegetables will be string beans, salted bitter melon (to extract bitterness) and the prawns.
Let the veggies cook and plate.
