- 2 kilos or around 2-3-pcs mud crabs (alimango), live, or pre-cooked
- 3 tbsp garlic, chopped
- ¼ cup (40 grams) onion, chopped
- 2 tbsp (20 grams) ginger, sliced thinly
- 3 cups (450 grams) squash, cut into 1” chunks
- 2 cups (300 grams) string beans, cut into 2” long
- 1 cup (240 ml) water
- 1 ½ cups (350 ml) coconut cream (kakang gata)
- 3 tbsp (45 ml) fish sauce
- cooking oil as required
- to taste salt and pepper
