Papaya and Banana Smoothie

If you’re looking for a thirst quencher after a tiring day at the gym, here’s what you can do at home- A quick and easy to make fruit smoothie! I always make this at home especially after a good workout. This is a good breakfast smoothie that will help you start your day!

Cuisine: Filipino
Serves: 2 glasses
Ingredients
  • ¼ medium ripe papaya (cut in cubes)
  • 2 medium bananas
  • ¼ cup calamansi juice
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 cup unsweetened / greek yogurt
  • 1 cup milk (use water for a lighter shake)
  • as needed crushed ice
Procedure
  1. Combine the peeled bananas, papaya, calamansi juice, honey, yoghurt and milk, in a blender, or suitable jug if using a stick blender.
  2. Blend everything until smooth and creamy and there are no papaya and banana chunks left.
  3. Pour in glasses, add straws and serve.
