TOYOMANSI
Toyomansi is one of the classic Filipino dipping sauce. It is literally toyo or soy sauce and calamansi (lime) mixed! But this simple recipe gets more complex when paired with grilled dishes. The citrus-fruity taste of the dipping sauce compliments grilled dishes perfectly.
- ¼ cup calamansi Juice
- ¼ cup Soy Sauce
- 2 tsp Garlic, minced
- 2 pcs Red Chilies, chopped
- With a small knife, cut the calamansi in half and squeeze the juice out in a small mixing bowl. You can strain the juice if you want to remove the seeds.
- In the same mixing bowl, mix in the soy sauce, garlic, and red chilies and stir. You can add more chilies for that spicy kick.
- Allow to infuse for 10 minutes then transfer to a sauce dish. Enjoy with grilled seafood or spooned over rice.
